Back atcha, Shorts! Hope ya had a good one even though you’re Jewish. Chrismukkah and all that.
Surprisingly, I went against my Jewish roots this year and celebrated both holidays - so Chrismukkah is right! I had an amazing one, ten times better than last year.

Puck’s eyebrows furrowed when she pinched his arm, because truthfully, he thought he was a loser back in high school, college, and the whole five or whatever months that he had it bad for Quinn Fabray. He thought she was awful now - he didn’t talk to her enough now to know if she’d gotten any happier or not, but he remembered that they were always fighting. Some of the shit she said was way too harsh, and some of the shit he said was too. He remembered the day he fell for Rachel, like really fell for her, more than just wanting to get in her skirt. It was the day he told her he slept with Quinn. She was the only one who saw him as someone other than an egotistic jerk who knocked up his best friend’s girl. “I was a loser,” Puck said, grinning lightly. “I was an idiot, too. I was so caught up in all the drama that it took me so long to see what was right in front of me.” He tightened his arms around her waist.
“Come on,” Puck said. “Let’s go back inside.” He removed his arms from around her waist and reached for her hand, pulling her back into their hotel room and shutting the glass door behind them. The little black box was still in his back pocket. He’d ask her, just not yet. He needed to lead her into it or something before he asked her. He knew that he had a better chance of her saying yes if he didn’t pop the question out of nowhere. “So,” he said, letting go of Rachel’s hand so she could sit at the edge of the bed, where he took a seat next to her, nervously leaning off the edge a little bit. “Three months, huh? You know you’re gonna get tired of me after three months.” He smirked. “Long trips on the bus, loud shows… late nights…” As he trailed off, he considered asking her right then, but his nerves stopped him once again. So far he’d thought he had put up a pretty good facade, but he could feel it slipping. Somehow he found the courage to sit up and get down on one knee in front of her where she sat, one hand reaching for hers. Now that he’d done this, he knew he couldn’t take it back. He hadn’t pulled out the ring yet, so maybe the idea that he might propose hadn’t popped into her head yet. “Rachel, I love you,” Puck finally said after a long beat of silence, a lump forming in his throat. “Do you love me?”
Rachel took the silence as if she probably said the wrong thing, or he was deep in thought. No matter how many times he told her that he was a loser she never would agree with it. Maybe she would have nine months ago when they first met, but gradually over time with the process of getting to know him she figured out it wasn’t really his fault for what he did. There was a lot going on, left and right and the majority of it was all against him. “Okay,” she mumbled under her breath before shrugging. “I’m just glad that it’s all over, that’s all in the past and what’s right in front of you is determined to stay like that no matter what.” Smiling as he let her go, and nodded in agreement about them going inside allowing him to pull her back inside the room. Making herself comfortable on the edge of the bed, she smiled as he sat down next to her. “I could never get sick of you,” she reassured him with a smile as she dramatically threw her arms up. “Are you kidding me? I’m ecstatic about this whole experience! When will I ever be able to say that I went on tour with my boyfriend and saw all over this great nation? Really Noah, I know that I’ll be sick of you by the end but we’ll go back to our normal schedule and everything will be fine. I’ll still love you at the end of the day.”
Putting her arms down, she giggled as she started to calm down from her natural high. In all honesty, she was really happy that he asked her to come along. Surely it was going to make for a great story. “I can handle it this, all of it. I saw Almost Famous, remember?” She kept her smile on her face, only to knit her eyebrows together as she watched him get one knee. Suddenly the whole atmosphere changed from happy to tense because she had absolutely no idea what he was doing. Letting him grab one of her hands, Rachel’s eyes roamed his face for some sort of sign of what was on his mind at the moment. “I love you too. “Of course I love you Noah, how is that even a question right now?” Placing the back of her head against his forehead, Rachel furrowed her eyebrows as she checked to see if he was feverish. Chewing on her bottom lip as she did so, she slowly brought her hand back to her lap. “What’s going on, are you feeling okay?” She asked despite the fact that her voice had completely cracked, he was on one knee and yeah her mind instantly thought he was about to propose but then her mind changed and thought that this could be something else, like he was preparing to tell her something she wouldn’t like. “Noah…” she whispered, her eyes started to water due to the fact that she was currently freaking out on the inside but she forced herself to calm down by biting her bottom lip roughly.

All Puck wanted to do was make sure Rachel had a good time on this trip. He knew three months was a long time away from home and especially, for him, away from Beth. He knew the risks he was taking by doing this, and he hated that he was going to miss three important months of his little girl’s life, but he’d taken a long time off from his music and the band’s album was finally releasing, and a tour would help to bring in more money that he definitely needed to support his daughter. The plus side of this trip was that it was three months he got to spend with Rachel - they wouldn’t get to spend every minute together because he would be performing, but she’d still be with him.
Resting his head on her shoulder, he rubbed one of her arms softly. “If at any time you get tired of it, just let me know, alright? I know it’s gonna be a long three months.” Smirking softly, he shrugged, speaking in low mutters against her shoulder, but he knew she was able to hear. “I love this place-” He grinned. “I love this city. This hotel. This awesome view.” He lifted his head from her shoulder and placed a kiss on her neck, still holding her close. “‘M glad you think so,” he mumbled. “You have no idea.” Staying silent for a minute, he absently ran his fingers through her hair, lost in his thoughts. When finally he spoke again, he said with a hint of a smile on his face, “That was a great night, huh? I couldn’t believe you flew all the way down here for me. Just some loser that liked to make out with you a lot,” he teased. It’d obviously been more than that to him, even then.
Three months being away from home, she knew it would be rough, more so for him than her since he had a lot more in New York than she did. However, the reason why he was doing all this overshadowed all that. Letting out a soft laugh, Rachel shook her head – there was no way she was going to get tired of visiting all these different places and being with him as well? It was more of an interesting extending vacation for her. “Stop, I’m not going to get tired of it. I want to do this. The whole three months.” Even if she got tired of it, she wasn’t going to tell him and have him end this wonderful opportunity that he had. One he could share with Beth when she was older or even now. “I love it here too; everything about it is so relaxing.” Tilting her head to the side to give him better access to her neck, she arched an eyebrow when he said she had no idea but decided not to question.
Enjoying the comfortable silence that fall over them, she closed her eyes and sighed as his fingers ran through her hair. Pitching his arm roughly, a frown formed on her face. “We’ve been over this before, Noah. I hate it when you refer to yourself as a loser before and even now.” She said seriously, releasing his skin for her tight hold with a soft smile as they reminisced that particular night when they finally stopped dancing around each other. “That was an amazing night day, weekend. You showed m a place that I’d never been before and I officially love it here. People always made it seem like Vegas was cheap and risqué but it’s far more beautiful than that.” Stopping herself before she went into a huge rant, she turned her head slightly and laughed. “You could have told me to fly anywhere and I would have done it, I was smitten with you, what can I say.”

After the bus had stopped in Las Vegas, Puck took Rachel out for dinner at the most romantic place he could find that was right outside with a view of the skyline. Afterwards he was hauling his suitcase and Rachel’s bags into the hotel where they were staying overnight. He’d been on tour with Rachel since Friday, and they’d been riding on that tour bus all day before deciding to settle down at a local hotel in Vegas — Monte Carlo hotel. Puck freaking loved this place. From the casino, to the bar, to the night Puck and Rachel spent here together, there were a lot of great memories, some of the best.
Throwing the bags down on the bed, Puck took a deep breath and his eyes flickered over to Rachel who had walked outside onto the adjoining balcony. He took those few moments to calm himself down. The truth was that even though he was trying to keep his cool so she wouldn’t be suspicious, he was freaking out on the inside. His heart had been beating fast in his chest since the second they got here. He forced a deep breath into his lungs and cast one more look over at Rachel to ensure she was still standing with her back toward him, and he reached into his suitcase with shaking hands and pulled out a small black box. Sliding it into his back pocket for later, he swallowed thickly and went out on the balcony to join Rachel, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind as he peered out at the night sky. “How are you feeling about all this?” he asked, genuinely worried that she would get tired of it and want to go home by the time the three months was over. “This hotel kind of has sentimental value.” He chuckled. “This room, actually.”
Even after the first time she came to Vegas, Rachel was still smitten for the place – with all the bright lights and liveliness, what was not to love about it? Then the dinner that Noah took her too before they decided to head to the hotel was even more wonderful than she expected, she couldn’t even focus on the food more so the view of the skyline they had. She was just glad they were going to be sleeping on an actual bed that night, although she did agree to this she wasn’t sure how she was going to survive on a tour bus for three months. She could already tell there were going to be some minor disrupts.
Once they made it inside their room, Rachel didn’t acknowledge anything other than the amazing view yet again, which instantly drew her walk outside towards the balcony. Her hands grip the railing as she grinned, her eyes gazing in disbelief of how gorgeous it was there. Drawing herself from her inner thoughts once she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist, she smiled as she leaned into his body. “I don’t know yet,” she answered honestly, exhaling a deep breath as she softly rested a hand upon one of his arms around her waist. “It’s different. A good different, I needed this break from New York. Oh I’m excited to see all the places we’re good!” She exclaimed, averting her gaze back upon the scenery in front of them. “As soon as you told me we were going to Vegas, I knew you’d pick this hotel, for the sentimental value.” Taking a moment to smile over the memory, she couldn’t help but think of how far they’d came from that in nine months. “What I did not expect for you to get the exact same room too,” giggling softly, she gently patted his arm showing him he did a wonderful job. “This is incredibly romantic of you to do, Noah Puckerman.”

He’s great! But he’s also pretty huge now. I kinda miss small puppy Ollie. Swore he couldn’t even get on the couch cushions yesterday. Boy, time flies. He’s even better for tackle hugs and cuddles now though. Gives a real good greeting at the door and is pretty much like a real fluffy pillow. Still try’na get him to stop sleeping on my head though. He’s a lot bigger than before, but I don’t think he realizes that.
Donald’s nephews are the bomb! Oh yeah, that movie. I think I’ve seen it once or twice on TV for a couple months now. It’s pretty funny. I like Porky - he’s cool. And yeah… I saw that one on TV too, which is kinda why I know about it. It’s not really that interesting at all. No comedy or anything. He sorta just sleeps around then asks what’s it all about in the end. Kinda lame.
Aw, that’s great to hear! He sounds absolutely adorable now, not that he wasn’t months ago because he was, obviously. That just really makes me miss him all that much more. You could let him give you twice the tackle hugs and cuddles for me and tell him I say hello! Oh and throw in a belly rub as well. He loves you though, and you do have a pretty comfortable head. I’m just saying.
They really are! They are my favorites. It is so great, I love it! And funny how you said Porky because I like Buckwheat, his pickle song is catchy. Oh well, thanks for informing me about that. Definitely doesn’t sounds that interesting, I know what to avoid now.

Ollie eats shoes. I’ve lost 2 pairs of classic Converse to him.
But what about Donald though? Also, Alfalfa hay… Is that named after the character? I’m pretty sure there’s some sort of movie with a character named Alfalfa. Not Alfie, but I’m pretty sure that’s a movie too. Jude Law, right?
Well that’s tragic, but he does eat nearly everything. How is he by the way?
Donald’s good too, I like his nephews. I don’t think it is… and you’re talking about my new favorite movie the Little Rascals, the main character is named Alfalfa! Yes, you’re correct that’s a movie and Jude Law was in it. I haven’t seen it yet though, it didn’t appeal to me.

Bugs Bunny totally sucks then.
What else do they eat though? They eat grass right? And nuggets? Or… I think they call it pellets not nuggets…
I couldn’t agree more. Duffy Duck? Now that’s a character.
Alfalfa hay, certain types of grass yes, pellets, vegetables, fruit. That’s basically it. Probably one of the most low maintenance animals you’ll ever have.
